Supply Chain Specialist (Part time)
Speedata is modernizing analytics infrastructure with the first purpose-built ASIC processor, the Analytics Processing Unit (APU), for analytics and AI data workloads.
Delivering up to 100x faster Apache Spark performance while cutting infrastructure TCO by 90%, the APU executes analytics operations directly in silicon with seamless integration and no code changes.
Speedata is looking for a hands-on and organized Supply Chain Specialist to help us build our hardware supply chain from the ground up.
This is a part-time role (50%), with a clear path to becoming full-time as the company scales.
We are at an early stage and do not yet have an ERP system, so this role offers a unique opportunity to design processes, make decisions, and have real impact.
You will work closely with engineering and operations, and later help implement the ERP system that will support our growth.
Rrequirements
5+ years of experience with PCB manufacturing / PCBA suppliers
Hands-on experience with procurement or supply chain operations.
Ability to build processes from scratch and improve workflows.
Good understanding of BOMs, part numbers, and electronic components
Strong organization, communication, and follow-up skills
Availability to start part-time and grow with the role
Nice to Have
Background in hardware, electronics, semiconductors, or high-tech startups
Experience choosing or implementing an ERP system
Familiarity with global logistics or import/export
Experience supporting NPI builds
Responsibilities
Work directly with PCB manufacturers, EMS partners, and component suppliers
Request and manage quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier follow-ups
Build and improve supply chain and procurement processes from scratch
Take part in selecting and implementing our ERP system (BOMs, items, workflows)
Track lead times and material availability for NPI and early production
Coordinate shipments and basic logistics (import/export)
Support engineering with accurate component and material data
